Secure in God’s love

בטחון באהבת אלוהים

-Romans 8: 31-39

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 

32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 

34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 

36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 

39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So I guess I have something for Romans chapter 8, since it’s my second post about based on this chapter.. So, what can we say? If God is for us, who can be against us?  For God is mighty and loving and he won’t let darkness of this world go against his children. If he who gave his only son for us, will give us graciously all things! Those who are chosen, for this is him who justifies! Christ who have died, raised to life- is the right hand of God, and he is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? No trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword. In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us- more than conquerors because of his love! For we can be convinced, I like to use also the word- secure that neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in ALL creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord! Do you realize that NOTHING can separate you from Gods love? We should understand more deeply the connection of every verse here- first, it says that if God is for us no one can stand against us. I feel like this verse is my security, that God if by my side, it continue saying that in him we are more than conquers- Jesus already won, and in him we are even more than winners, conquers- this means that this world has powers I like to call them ‘Giants’ – those giants can be a disease, a person, a tragedy, that trying to separate us from Gods love, and this scriptures opens with saying that nothing can separate us from his love- this is security in him that we are more than winners! So no height, no depth, no darkness, and no death- nothing can separate us from his love. I see this scriptures as another love letter from God t us, saying that you are can be sure in his love, because through is love you are more than a conqueror. Love has given to you that no power can separate you from.

“וְעַתָּה מַה־נֹּאמַר עַל־זֹאת אִם־הָאֱלֹהִים לָנוּ מִי יָרִיב אִתָּנוּ׃ 32 אֲשֶׁר־עַל־בְּנוֹ שֶׁלּוֹ לֹא חָס כִּי אִם־נְתָנוֹ בְּעַד כֻּלָּנוּ הֲלֹא יִתֵּן לָנוּ עִמּוֹ אֶת־הַכֹּל׃ 33 מִי יַעֲנֶה בִּבְחִירֵי אֱלֹהִים הֵן אֱלֹהִים הוּא הַמַּצְדִּיק׃ 34 וּמִי־הוּא יַאֲשִׁימֵם הֵן הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֲשֶׁר מֵת וַאֲשֶׁר נֵעוֹר מֵעִם הַמֵּתִים הוּא מִימִין הָאֱלֹהִים וְהוּא יַפְגִּיעַ בַּעֲדֵנוּ׃ 35 מִי יַפְרִידֵנוּ מֵאַהֲבַת הָאֱלֹהִים הֲצָרָה אוֹ מְצוּקָה אוֹ מַשְׂטֵמָה אוֹ רָעָב אִם־עֶרְיָה אוֹ סַכָּנָה אוֹ־חָרֶב׃ 36 כַּכָּתוּב כִּי־עָלֶיךָ הֹרַגְנוּ כָל־הַיּוֹם נֶחְשַׁבְנוּ כְּצֹאן טִבְחָה׃ 37 אֲבָל בְּכָל־אֵלֶּה גָּבַרְנוּ מְאֹד עַל־יְדֵי הָאֹהֵב אֹתָנוּ׃ 38 וּבָטוּחַ אֲנִי שֶׁלּא הַמָּוֶת וְלֹא הַחַיִּים לֹא מַלְאָכִים וְלֹא שְׂרָרוֹת וְלֹא גְבוּרוֹת לֹא הַהוֶֹה וְלֹא הֶעָתִיד׃ 39 לֹא הָרוֹם וְלֹא הָעֹמֶק וְלֹא כָל־בְּרִיָּה יוּכְלוּ לְהַפְרִידֵנוּ מֵאַהֲבַת הָאֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר הִיא בַּמָּשִׁיחַ יֵשׁוּעַ אֲדֹנֵינוּ:

אז נראלי שיש לי משהו בנוגע לרומים ח' כי זה הפוסט השני שלי שאני מדברת על פסוקים מהפרק הזה.. אז מה נאמר? אם אלוהים איתנו מי יעמוד נגדינו? כי אלוהים גדול ונורא ולא אתן לחושך העולם הזה לצאת כנגד ילדיו. הוא אשר נתן לנו את בנו יחידו עבורינו על הצלב, יתן לנו הכל בחסדו! מי יענה בבחירי אלוהים הן אלוהים הוא המצדיק. שהרי הוא אשר נצלב ומת קם מן המתים ויושב לימין האלוהים ומפגיע בעדנו. מי יפרידנו מאהבת אלוהים? למען נהיה משוכנעים- אני אוהבת להשתמש במילה בטוחים

שלא צרה, לא מצוקה או משטמה או רעב, אם עריה או סכנה או חרב, כי בכל אלה גברנו מאוד על ידי האוהב אותנו. אנחנו יותר ממנצחים! ובטוחים אנחנו שלא מוות ולא חיים, לא מלאכים ולא שררות ולא גבורות, לא ההוה ולא העתיד, לא הרום ולא העומק ולא כל בריה יוכלו להפרידנו מאהבת אלוהים אשר במשיח ישוע אדוננו.

האם אתה מבין ששום דבר לא יכול להפריד אותך מאהבת אלוהים? עלינו להבין יותר את הקשר בין כל הפסוקים בקטע הזה-

הפסוקים פותחים בלהגיד לנו שאם אלוהים איתנו אף אחד לא יכול לעמוד נגדנו, אני מרגישה שזהו הבטחון שלי, שאלוהים לצדי. הפסוק הבא אומר שבו אנחנו יותר ממנצחים!- ישוע כבר ניצח ובו אנחנו יותר ממנצחים- זה אומר שבעולם הזה יש כוחות, אני אוהבת לכנות אותם 'ענקים'- הענקים האלה יכולים להיות מחלה, אדם, טרגדיה וכו אשר מנסים להריד אותנו מאהבתו של אלוהים, והפסוק הזה ממש כמו הכרזה שאף אחד לא יוכל להפרדנו מאהבת אלוהים, בו אנחנו יותר ממנצחים- זהו הבטחון. אני רואה את הקטע הזה כעוד מכתב אהבה בשבלנו מאלוהים,שאנחנו יכולים להיות בטוחים באהבה שלו ששום כוח לא יוכל להפרידנו מאהבתו.
