The one who returns to thank

האחד שחוזר להודות

“Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” ~Ephesians 5:20

How many times we forgot to thank God for something he blessed us with? Or for something we already have by his grace?

^“12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy^[a] met him. They stood at a distance ¹³ and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”

¹⁴ When he saw them, he said, “Go, and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.

¹⁵ One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. ¹⁶ He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

¹⁷ Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? ¹⁸ Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?”¹⁹ Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” ~Luke 17: 11—19

I pray that every one of us will be the one who return to thank God for what he have done for us!! Don’t you want to be the one who throws himself at Jesus feet and thank him?

Thankfulness should take a big part in our prayer life, I believe that when we thank and praise God we enter the gates of his kingdom.

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.” ~Psalms 100:4

For a long time my prayers were all about asking God for things and not really thanking him for all the great things he have already done in my life, and for all the things he gracefully already gave me!! Now I pray by thanking and praising him for he is so good to me!!

“Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” ~Psalms 106:1

Let us be the ones who returns to Thank Jesus.

וּבְכָל עֵת הוֹדוּ עַל הַכֹּל לֵאלֹהִים אָבִינוּ בְּשֵׁם אֲדוֹנֵנוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ.

כמה פעמים שכחנו להודות לאלוהים על משהו שהוא בירך אותנו? או

משהו שכבר יש לנו על ידי החסד שלו?

11 בְּלֶכְתּוֹ לִירוּשָׁלַיִם עָבַר בְּשׁוֹמְרוֹן וּבַגָּלִיל. 12 כְּשֶׁנִּכְנַס לִכְפָר אֶחָד בָּאוּ לִקְרָאתוֹ עֲשָׂרָה אֲנָשִׁים 

מְצֹרָעִים. הֵם נֶעֶמְדוּ מֵרָחוֹק 13 וְקָרְאוּ בְּקוֹל רָם: "יֵשׁוּעַ אֲדוֹנֵנוּ, רַחֵם נָא עָלֵינוּ!" 14 כִּרְאוֹתוֹ אוֹתָם אָמַר לָהֶם: "לְכוּ וְהֵרָאוּ אֶל הַכֹּהֲנִים." הֵם הָלְכוּ וּבִהְיוֹתָם בַּדֶּרֶךְ נִטְהֲרוּ. 15 אֶחָד מֵהֶם, כַּאֲשֶׁר רָאָה כִּי נִרְפָּא, חָזַר כְּשֶׁהוּא מְהַלֵּל אֶת אֱלֹהִים בְּקוֹל גָּדוֹל, 16 נָפַל עַל פָּנָיו לְרַגְלֵי יֵשׁוּעַ וְהוֹדָה לוֹ. אוֹתוֹ הָאִישׁ הָיָה שׁוֹמְרוֹנִי. 17 הֵשִׁיב יֵשׁוּעַ וְאָמַר: "הֲלֹא טֹהֲרוּ הָעֲשָׂרָה, וְהֵיכָן הַתִּשְׁעָה?  18 כְּלוּם לֹא נִמְצָא מִי שֶׁיָּשׁוּב לָתֵת כָּבוֹד לֵאלֹהִים זוּלָתִי בֶּן-נֵכָר זֶה?"  19 וְאֵלָיו אָמַר: "קוּם וְלֵךְ. אֱמוּנָתְךָ הוֹשִׁיעָה אוֹתְךָ. ~לוקס יז': 11~19."

                                                                                

   אני מתפללת שכל אחד מאיתנו 

יהיה זה שחוזר ומודה לאלוהים על מה שהוא עשה ועושה עבורנו!! האם אתה רוצה להיות זה שזורק את עצמו לרגלי ישוע ומודה לו?

הכרת תודה צריך לקחת חלק גדול בחיי התפילה שלנו, אני מאמינה שכאשר אנו מודים ומשבחים את אלוהים אנחנו נכנסים בשערי מלכתו .

 ^{~ תהילים 100: 4} בֹּ֤אוּ שְׁעָרָ֨יו׀ בְּתוֹדָ֗ה חֲצֵרֹתָ֥יו בִּתְהִלָּ֑ה הֽוֹדוּ־ל֝֗וֹ בָּרֲכ֥וּ שְׁמֽוֹ׃

במשך תקופה ארוכה התפילות שלי היו רק בקשות מאלוהים ולא באמת הודתי לו על כל הדברים הנפלאים שהוא כבר עשה בחיים שלי , ועל כל הדברים שהוא בחסדו כבר נתן לי! עכשיו אני מתפללת בהודיה ושבח לו, כי הוא כל כך טוב!

הַֽלְלוּיָ֨הּ׀ הוֹד֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה כִּי־ט֑וֹב כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ ~ ^{תהילים  106: 1}
