We are heirs

אנחנו יורשים

-Romans 8: 14-17

“14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 

15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 

16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 

17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.”

Everyone who the spirit is guiding called the son of God! So when we say I was born again, I believe that this is when we leave our past, our sinful nature and we are born again to the kingdom of God, born again as children of our father God! So when we are born again we let the spirit guide us, and that’s exactly what Paul says- everyone that the spirit guide him called son of God.  How big God’s grace is to call us sons and daughters! And we can call him Abba Father!

 –John 3: 5-8  

 We didn`t receive the spirit of slavery to return to fear- but we have received the spirit of adoption as sons and daughters of God!! For whom we cry “Abba Father”, the spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God! The spirit himself testified with our spirit that we are children of God? The spirit himself!! (15-16) this is not the first time the bible call us children of God: -Mark 2:5, -Mark 5:34, -Matthew 9:22 Jesus himself call them sons and daughters!

So if we are sons and daughter therefor we are heirs, heirs of the kingdom of God and fellow heirs with Christ. So as we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

You were called to be an heir of the kingdom of God! So what it actually means to be heirs of the kingdom of God?  It means we have inheritance in Gods kingdom, we are a part of his promise –Hebrews 6: 17, he does not change his mind about his children, he does not change his promises. So sons and daughters are you willing to take the privilege of being heirs of the kingdom of God?

14 כִּי־כֹל אֲשֶׁר רוּחַ אֱלֹהִים יְנַהֲגֵם בְּנֵי אֱלֹהִים הֵמָּה׃ 15 כִּי לֹא קִבַּלְתֶּם רוּחַ עַבְדוּת לָשׁוּב לִירֹא כִּי אִם־קִבַּלְתֶּם רוּחַ מִשְׁפַּט בָּנִים אֲשֶׁר בּוֹ קֹרְאִים אֲנַחְנוּ אַבָּא אָבִינוּ׃ 16 וְהָרוּחַ הַהוּא מֵעִיד בְּרוּחֵנוּ כִּי־בְנֵי אֱלֹהִים אֲנָחְנוּ׃ 

כל מי שהרוח מדריכה אותו נקרא בן אלוהים! אז כאשר אנו אומרים נולדתי מחדש אני  מאמינה שזה כאנחנו עוזבים את העבר שלנו, הטבע החוטא שלנו ואנחנו נולדים מחדש למלכות של אלוהים, נולדים מחדש כילדים לאלוהים! אז כשאנחנו נולדים מחדש אנחנו בעצם נותנים לרוח הקודש את השליטה להדריך אותנו וזה בדיוק למה ששאול מתכוון- כל מי שהרוח מדריכה אותו נקרא בן לאלוהים! כמה גדול החסד של אלוהים שנוכל להיקרא בנים ובנות של אלוהים! ונתנה לנו הזכות בחסד לקרוא לו "אבא, אבינו!" -יוחנן ג': 3-5.

על כן, לא קיבלנו רוח של עבדות ופחד, אלא רוח המקנה, בנים לאלוהים וברוח הזאת אנחנו יכולים לקרוא- "אבא, אבינו!" הרוח עצמה מעידה יחד עם רוחנו שבנים לאלוהים אנחנו, הרוח עצמה!! (15-16). זאת לא הפעם הראשונה שהתנך מכנה אותנו בנים לאלוהים, ישוע עצמו מכנה אותנו כך -מרקוס ב': 5, -מרקוס ה': 34, -מתי ט': 22 ישוע עצמו קורא להם בנים ובנות!

אז אם אנחנו בנים ובנות, אנחנו יורשים בנחלתו של המשיח! על כן, כמו שנסבול יחד איתו 

גם נתפאר במלכותו.

אתה נקראת להיות יורש נחלת מלכות אלוהים! אז מה זה בעצם אומר? זה אומר שאנחנו חלק מההבטחה שלו –אל העברים ו': 17, אלוהים לא משנה את דעתו על בניו, הוא לא משנה את ההבטחות שלו.

אז בנים ובנות האם אתם מוכנים לקחת חלק בזכות להיות יורשי נחלת  אלוהים?
